By promoting education, diplomacy, and global awareness, he aspires for the conference to enhance delegates' understanding on global dynamics and UN operations, particularly in relation to this year's conference theme. Milan has been doing Model UN since high school, finding over the years great fulfillment from the way the community aspect of it fosters growth. Participating in MUN emphasized values revolving around collaboration and compromise, two core pillars that continue to act as guiding principles in his personal and professional life. As Indigenous peoples are generally underrepresented and overlooked, Milan considers this year's conference a great opportunity for giving these communities a voice through Model UN. For this iteration, he hopes to foster an environment where delegates feel safe, included, represented, and platformed.
